Description: This Nolan Ryan piece features 2 of the most famous 8 x 10 photos ever done of the King of the Strikeouts. Both photos are the product of Texas photographer, Linda Kaye. In the top photo, Nolan was hit by a shot off the bat of Bo Jackson. He finished the inning and changed shirts, got repaired, and pitched a low hit victory. The engraved nameplate says "Nolan Ryan," "Major League Tough Guy." The lower photo catches Nolan giving "nouggies" to Robin Ventura right after Robin rushed the mound. Nolan got Robin in the headlock, delivering six shots without getting touched. The engraved plate says "Nolan Ryan" "Robin Ventura, the only man to get six hits off Nolan Ryan in one game." The autograph is prefaced with several different sayings in these pieces. It may say "Don't let a minor setback keep you from success." It may say "Some wins are tougher than others."All signatures were obtained through the Nolan Ryan Foundation, and come with certificates.
